Description:

PayU is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer – Data to join its quality engineering team and ensure the reliability and accuracy of its data platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in ETL, Data Warehousing (DW), and Business Intelligence (BI) testing who are passionate about maintaining high-quality data systems.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in ETL, Data Warehousing, and BI testing.
• 1–2 years of experience in test automation scripting using Python or Robot Framework.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You will be responsible for validating data pipelines, executing ETL and BI testing, creating and automating test cases, and ensuring data integrity across relational databases. The role also involves developing Python-based test automation scripts, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into test scenarios, and working closely with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
